Fly
by D. Savannah George
I'm staring out the windshield
At the cars I'm passing by
I'm chasing down a dream
So I've really got to fly
The road is dark and lonely
But I don't really care
There's warmth and love and light
When I get there
The miles glide beneath my tires
As I make my way toward home
Good music's on the radio
So I am not alone
My journey's just beginning
The stars twinkle in the sky
I'm chasing down a dream
So I can fly
