Black Circles
by D. Savannah George
My adult self
attempts to
remain calm, cool,
professional,
in the face of the yawning
tiger of the unknown.
But my child self
tends to revert.
So what's this I see?
My child's self,
legs crossed,
head bent,
elbows akimbo,
drawing
black circles
on a dark tiger.
