This particular piece has gone through numerous versions... I just kept painting on top until I liked it. In one layer, I just brushed red paint across the canvas in a crosshatch pattern. Then I added other colors on top, and created the sun. Finally, I added dark green on the bottom for "grass", blue on top for "sky", and blue and white dots of paint for "flowers". I think it's interesting that you can see the older versions through the final layer. Painted on stretched canvas. Edges are also painted, so no need for a frame. Painting is signed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity that includes the COA number, title, date and my signature.
