Artist Trading Cards (or ATCs for short) are miniature works of art that are the same size as the typical baseball trading cards - i.e. 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches. They can be oriented either in profile or landscape direction. These cards apparently originated from the mail art movement and are becoming quite popular. They can be done in a variety of media from paint to fabric to collage, and almost anything else. As long as they adhere to the 2.5 x 3.5 size they are ATCs. More lately, people are trying to sell these little cards, and when they are for sale, they are referred to as ACEOs or Art Cards, Editions, and Originals. (Description by Arlene Holtz.) All of my ACEOs are originals.
